Story Board Anomatic

This is my story board in time with my choosen song (anomatic) The reason o done this is becasue it just helps to see the video working along side my storyboard out line, and it also helps to see if it works with the music before i record.



The One Below was my new storyboard put into an anomatic, becasue i lost all my previous work and needed to re-do a storyboard.

APB - Scenes

This is another blog which I have created and linked to my Previous blog: http://apb-lee.blogspot.com/ the reason for this as i stated within my other blog is to make the blog smaller and easier to navigate around, this part of the blog is for The Scenes, I drew around twenty in all and this is just describing what i want from each part and their importance as well as why i included certain aspects within each..

► Scene One☺

For the first part of the video i will be having a close up of an acoustic guitar, this will be played, hopefully in time with the music, if that doesn’t work I will try it from the other end on the threat, because its easier to use the threat than to strum in time, this part will be being played for around seven seconds, as this is the length of the beginning of the song. For the first thirty seconds i want to keep all faces hidden and keep people of the video, because I will be showing scenes of a house and I would like to give the impressions that its empty and the singer is feeling empty inside.

► Scene Two & Five☺

For scene two and scene five, they will both be using the same view of a table its just almost a time shift, in scene two, there will be a mix of both male and female magazines, to signify a lived on house of both sexes, and an “I Love You” letter on the table, so two people in a relationship. While in scene five the magazines will either be separated or the males will be gone, and the love letter in the middle will either be removed or torn up in to pieces, I will be use the magazines to show that they have separated or someone has left, and the torn up love letter will show that there is no love within the house ♫I will not leave a letter nothing at all♪ this is the verse which is playing in the back ground of the video, for both scenes.

► Scene Three ☺
Because the beginning verse repeats twice I have to think of different videos or images for each, for scene Two and Five iv done a different comparison iv done from good to bad, but for the others I am going to have different bad images as I liked the way of doing it and it changes the perspective at the beginning before its started, so for these lyrics ♫I'm sure you won't notice that I'm even gone, Why did I stay here stay for so long♪ I am going to have packed bags, and suitcases by the door, as if someone is leaving the house.

► Scene Four & Ten ☺
For both scene I will have two people sitting on a sofa and I will try to create an uncomfortable atmosphere and I will try to play on this and make it look like they don’t want to be in the same room with each other, for just scene four I will have them sitting next to each other and they will both be looking in separate directions and I will use body language as well, for example I will have the male fiddling with his hands or his hair, and I will have the female crossing her legs away from the male to show she doesn’t want to be near him. While for scene ten it will be a carry on from the first part and the male will be getting up and walking towards the camera as to give the impression of leaving the room. But the most important thing in this scene in to show them not talking because the lyrics say: ♫I won’t break this silence we've shared for so long♪

► Scene Five ☺ (See Scene Two)
► Scene Six ☺
For this scene I will either have an empty and messy bed/bedroom or I will have a neatly tidied one side of a double bed with a messy side and make it look like its been slept in by one person on one side and left empty on the other side, this is for to show that the room is not tended to much or, to show a separation of two people as this is the idea of my music video. The other idea I had for this was to put a couple of pillows on a sofa with a duvet to show that this is being slept on, and in the same split second of this image id show a double bed with a single set of pillows on side, to also give the impression of a split and they are sleeping in separate places, I haven’t yet decided which scene I will put in but this is the picture that I drew to use as a guideline.

► Scene Seven ☺
For scene seven I want to have an argument in a slow motion playback, the reason I want to do this is because the lyrics are ♫Why did I stay here stay for so long,
When we're so far gone♪ and I want to give the impression it was hard to stay as if their were many things pushing him away, as in the girlfriend was pushing him away and making it seem she didn’t want him to be their but yet he was persistent and stuck their, well until now.

► Scene Eight ☺

For scene eight I first thought that the lyrics were "i feel so stupid taking this phone" i then relised it was phone not fall which means this scene would have to be changed into taking this fall i wasn't sure what i would change it to, to emphasise on these words, but i did consider just leaving it on the phone and sdaying in the final reveiw that this is what i thought it was, but il decide when it comes

► Scene Nine ☺

In this scene i wanted to give the impression that looking through a window was the easiest thing to do when the lyrics are "I should have seen it all along" and by having my actor look through the window it shows that it was clear but yet there was something in the way to hide it.

► Scene Eleven ☺

For this scene i went back to add some more lip syncing in and this like the other part (scene 16/17) have the same meaning full part as they do in these scenes.

► Scene Twelve☺

This is another good gutair solo scene so i wanted to put in a gutairiest bit, so i got my frined to learnt the song so i could record him playing it. and plus because i love the gutair.

► Scene Thirteen☺ This scene is to show that my actor is thinking about the past and his relationship wich has now ended, and then i want my actor to stand up as if he has stopped thinking about his relationship, and is trying to move on.

► Scene Fourteen☺

This was another scene to fill gaps and the words are "Broken to peices" and i felt sittign in a corner word quite deppressing and it would work along side the words.

► Scene Fifteen☺

This is another scene that plays along side the words, were it "left our pictures and songs to fade" so i was either going to have it thrown or just let them fade out of the picture with the opacity option in the video editing software.

► Scene Sixteen☺

When drawing out my story board i relised i needed more than the final part to be liped with the music and i feel this was another perfect part to put it in, beacuse this is meaningfull, and easy to undertsand, "You dont have to say anyting at all..."

► Scene Seventeen☺

Tis is the same as before i just wanted a diffrent angle to add to the effect and put more camera skills within.

► Scene Eighteen☺

This follows the words of "I wont stop you from walking away", so my male actor will be sitting on the bench, and my female leaves but the male wont follow, this will then lead on to another gutiar solo.

► Scene Nineteen☺

I have a a 10 secound gap, and i watched a music video once that had a speeded up ending with a road and i liked this and when i was thinking of looking for something to fill this space this idea come to mind, so i was going to link this onto the next were as have the speeding down the road then in through a front door then up the stairs were my actor will be sitting on the bed, ready for the last scene.

► Scene Twenty☺

For the last few words of the song i feel like this is the most important part and of ocurse i also felt it would be more meaning full liped/mimed at the end. "Sitting Here I waste the day while these memories fade away, I expected so much more from you..."
